Director of Music Ministries (full-time)
Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church, Johnson City, TN, seeks a full-time director of music ministries beginning October 1, 2024. The director will coordinate traditional worship services with the senior pastor; will direct the adult choir, youth choir, older elementary choir, adult handbells, and youth handbells; and supervise the organist/music associate, contemporary worship leader, and volunteers in the music program. Master’s degree in church music, conducting, or comparable training required; minimum of 5 years’ experience leading church music ministry preferred. MUSIC ENRICHMENT TEACHER for 2024-25 school year
Munsey Preschool is currently accepting applications for a Music Enrichment Teacher for the 2024-25 school year.
This position is 5 days per week from 8:30-12 each day. We take a playful and active approach to teaching young children. Our music Program encourages and promotes self-expression and social growth as well as a love for music.
Responsibilities include:
Introduce small groups of children, ages 2-5, to the world of music using songs, simple instruments, and a variety of instructional materials, resources, and experiences.
