Mexico medical mission
Munsey provides funding to support the Mexico Medical Missions trips sponsored by the Holston Conference. The team connects with others in the Knoxville area and goes to Mexican villages in the spring of each year to provide care and help clinics become self sustaining. Members come from various denominations and religious traditions, yet we are all passionate followers of Jesus Christ. We take seriously our Lord's command to be His witnesses to the "ends of the earth," knowing that He showed special compassion for the sick, the crippled and the poor. Once, when asked to identify himself, Jesus simply replied, "The blind receive sight, the lame walk...the deaf hear...and the good news is preached to the poor." Jesus always integrated preaching the Gospel with acts of love and mercy.

Czech republic sports camp
Munsey provides financial support for volunteers participating in Munsey's Czech Republic Sports camp, to offset some of the costs of travel, housing, and food. The Czech Sports Team goes to Litomerice each July for ten days to hold a softball camp, as well as Vacation Bible School.

willow alaska
Munsey provides financial and hands on volunteer support to grow our relationship with the Willow Alaska United Methodist Church. The Pastor there is a Holston Conference Missionary Pastor. Our support goes to assisting the food pantry along with support to Christina Downling-Soka's salary.

emergency and disaster relief
Provide financial support, supplies, and hands on volunteer opportunities in response to UMCOR, Conference, and the District Disaster Relief requests. Providing aid to victims of hurricanes, tornados, fire, floods, and other natural disasters.
