Upward Basketball and Cheerleading at Munsey!

Every child plays, every child learns and every child is a winner. Emphasis is placed on having fun and good sportsmanship. Upward Basketball and Cheerleading at Munsey will include girls and boys from 4 years old through 6th grade

Practices will start the week of November 16, 2009

Practices will be either on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday nights – 1 per week unless a practice needs to be rescheduled due to special event or the church is closed or holidays.

Games start – Saturday, January 9, 2010 and will run for 8 Saturdays until the end of February.

The Upward Celebration will be on Saturday, March 6, 2010

We are taking signups of volunteers for Referees and Coaches for both Cheerleading and Basketball. Each volunteer interested, must fill out a form which is available at the Connection Point or from Priscilla. We will be scheduling Training Sessions soon. Please encourage anyone interested to please complete a form and turn it back into the Connection Point. Youth are encouraged to sign up. We had several youth that participated last year and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It is our goal this year to have at least 2 or more Coaches per team.
