there's a place for you at Munsey

Weekly @ Munsey

Study and Fellowship
Our Youth Sunday School classes meet each Sunday @ 10:00am on the Youth floor. All youth can hang out in the Assembly Room to play games and chat, but at 10:00 am meet in your Sunday School classrooms for announcements and lessons. We have amazing teachers who are dedicated to making Sunday School a great place to be for Munsey Youth.
UMYF
UMYF stands for United Methodist Youth Fellowship, & we meet on Sunday nights for ours. We start @ 6:15pm with snack supper & then have worship, games, & discussion groups for different ages. Life Groups – our youth small groups. Life Groups are grade and gender based and will meet during the week. Mid High Life Groups will meet on the youth floor on Wednesday evenings, at either 5:30 pm or 6:20 pm. The 5:30 pm time is offered for Mid High youth who want to be part of the youth handbell choir (grades 6-7) at 6:20 pm. For Sr. High Life Groups, the typical time will be 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Wednesday, but a group can set its own date and time as well and can meet in homes or the church.

Mid High Pickup (MHP) on Wednesdays goes to different locations each week for a fellowship outing or service project. We pickup youth in grades 6-7 at Indian Trail at 2:50 pm at the bus stop.  Some weeks youth need to bring $ for a snack stop, e.g., Burger King; while sometimes we ask youth to bring drinks and snacks. If you'd like to drop the snacks and drinks off before 2pm on Wednesday, you can leave them marked for MHP at the Connection Point. If you have not RSVP’d, you may not be allowed on the church bus if there is no more seating. You can have a standing RSVP, so long as you commit to letting Dan know by Sunday if you will not be using it that week. A notarized Health Form needs to be on file. Parents can sign a yellow Permission Form each week or sign the special MHP Permission Form (pink color) once that will stay on file for the academic year. Guests are always welcome so long as we have space on the bus (please RSVP for them) and they come with a completed Health Form and Permission Form.
