Rotation Sunday School for Elementary Age Children We use the Rotation format for grades 1-4. A magical ferry boat takes children to a different learning center each week. · "Bible Rama Drama” where children act out bible stories. · "Movin' Groovin' Mountain of Love" – A place to sing or move creatively, enjoy a game, or to do a children’s mission project. · "Creation Station" where creative art and cooking abound. · “The Exploration Station” where science activities help children experience bible stories in a new way. · “The Sea Creature's Cinema," complete with popcorn and a video that brings the Bible story of the month to life. How to check-in Elementary Children on Sunday mornings: On Sunday morning, children gather from 9:45 to 10:05 at “Lift Off Landing”, Room 209, at the top of the staircase near the sanctuary, for an opening that helps us focus on the day’s story. Children go on in to the room. We ask adults to please sign them in at the tables in the landing by the elevators. This helps us know where to find adults, and also helps us keep track of allergies. Rev. Christina, our Minister of Children’s Discipleship, along with an outstanding team of volunteers looks forward to welcoming your children on Sunday Mornings. There is a special check-in table at the doorway to room 209 where new families are welcomed. Where to pick up your child: After our Sunday School opening, your child will be guided by class shepherds to their learning center for the morning. To pick up your child you will look for their class banner hanging outside of their doorway. Sunday School on our Preschool Floor
Located on the first floor of the children's wing. Sunday school for this age group begins at 9:50 am. Green room- Lead teacher is Bethany Little Purple room- Lead teachers are Mandy Owens and Ryan Collins Blue room – Lead teachers are Lynn Day and Emily Sutton Orange room- Lead teachers are Mindy Combs, Lee Moran and Amy Mooney Red Room – Lead teachers are Judy Herron and Jenny Sealey, assistants are Wendy Wilgus and Christy Weems Check out and Check in for Sunday school- each child will get a tag with their name and allergies listed on back. Parents will receive matching cards that they turn in when ready to pick up their child. For green room ( infant room) Same procedure as above, however, we also ask parents to sign in and put their cell phone number down in case of emergency.
Families are invited to go to www.iliveBig.com and to click on the Parents’ Page under the Adults heading to stay in touch with what your child is learning. Our Co-Director of Children's Ministries, Kim Latimer and her outstanding Nursery staff will help new parents get oriented. Please use the doors off the Fellowship Hall to enter the Preschool Hallway.

LIVE B.I.G. Sunday School for age 0 through Kindergarten: We believe learning begins the moment you are born. Sunday mornings are delightful here at Munsey. We use "Live B.I.G." and "Toddlers and Twos" curriculum, especially designed to help your little person know how special they are and how much God loves them. Crafts, snacks, musical fun and stories are all a part of our fabulous Sunday Morning adventures.
