Gadabouts!

Munsey’s senior adult activities/travel group is called the Gadabouts! According to the dictionary, a “gadabout” is one who wanders leisurely about looking for fun. No matter if this age group (55 and over) is working on a missions project, going on a day trip, worshipping together, or enjoying a meal at a quaint restaurant, they have fun!

Lib Rannick is the chairperson for this group. Activities are planned monthly and detailed information is promoted through the Messenger and weekly Update.

Gadabout activities for 2010:

Feb. 11: Jonesborough Community Theatre “I LOVE A PIANO” and dinner.

Mar. 18: dinner program at Munsey Fellowship Hall
with guest, Bob Cox. 5:30 pm

Apr. 23: Senior Adult Fair, Munsey CLC, 10-3 pm

May 22: Carter Fold

June 17: Saltville, VA museum and lunch

July 17: Cumberland Playhouse overnight trip

August 19: BINGO! in Munsey Fellowship Hall

Sept. 16: Mystery Trip

Oct. 21: Gatlinburg Aquarium and lunch

Nov. 18: Barter Theatre and lunch
